Kimberly Verde Consultant
Kimberly is an independent public and community relations specialist serving artists, galleries and non-profit organizations. She brings creativity to her solid foundation in traditional PR and stays current with the rapidly, and ever-changing trends in her field. She has been fortunate to have contributed to, as well as gained insight from Wiley & Flynn Photography, The A Gallery- SF, Planet°, Intersection for the Arts, Flagship Studios and Galeria de la Raza, to name a few.
Miss Verde’s career began in1998, when working as a photographer’s assistant within a premier commercial studio. It was through her experiences in the commercial setting that she discovered her instinct for the promotion of artists and their work. While working with Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco’s longest- standing non-profit arts organization, her awareness was awakened to the value of fostering a strong community. She had then advanced in her next role as a director for a bay area street-wear and contemporary art gallery. Her time there provided her an amusing yet valuable education in the boundless form of guerilla and DIY public relations. Aside from her services in PR, she is internationally consulted for art acquisition and curation.
Danielle Grant Consultant
Danielle Grant is an independent arts administrator, writer, and communications professional based in San Francisco. After five years as an event planning consultant, her career trajectory diverged when she decided to put her art history degree to work and become an artist’s assistant. It was in this supportive position that she discovered her passion for art activism and arts advocacy.
As an art and communications professional, Danielle seeks to liberate the role of art from its historically insular status by continually fostering and promoting a dialogue between the artist, the art world, the media and the community. She has two years of experience working in contemporary fine art galleries as an Assistant Director and Community Outreach Specialist. Her art writing and cultural criticism has appeared in Juxtapoz Art and Culture Magazine and SOMA Magazine.
