Tonight’s “Friday Nights at the de Young” series celebrates the Warhol Live event that was hosted last month by Amoeba Music and the East Bay Express. Live silkscreening by local artists took place during the Warhol Live festivities, and those pieces will be on display for tonight’s temporary exhibition at the de Young.
I’m proud to announce that Bay Area artist, Jesse Hazelip will have his series of Warhol-inspired silkscreens on view at the event. If you missed him at Warhol Live, now’s your chance to see the work.
